the wheel of life

well, lots has been going on lately. I'm still up on etsy, but not as active as in the past. My chair massage was going great guns there for a while, but as the holiday season approaches it's quietening down. That's ok, though, it will pick up again after the new year I'm sure.

I've decided to go back to school, too. I had two and a half years under my belt before withdrawing from college some years ago. I think it's time to go back and get that degree. I'm returning in January, with a major in English. About ten people so far have asked me, "What can you do with a degree in English?" Well, I could go for my master's and teach at a community college (which i think I would really enjoy) or, I could follow my brother's example. He is using his degree in communications as an English teacher in Berlin. He teaches both at a school, and to business professionals at conferences. So, a few choices. Or, if I lived in fantasy world, I would just churn out four spicey romance novels a year and become the next Nora Roberts! (not that i actually read romance novels on a regular basis or anything)

Anyway, happy holiday season to everyone! Hope you have a great one!

I don't know the meaning of the word "surrender". I mean, I know it, I'm not dumb... just not in this context.

I'm a doctor, not an escalator.
